Anambra State Commissioner of Police CP Nnaghe Obono Itam has order investigation into the murder of three persons at Isionye land, a boundary between Enugu ukwu and Nwafia.
The attack which took place yesterday 9th September, 2024 by 2 pm also left five people injured.
According to the PPRO Anambra State Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Preliminary information revealed that the victims were lured by some individuals through a phone call to the land in guise of a land transaction and then attacked them with guns and matchets.
Meanwhile, the CP Itam has sued for calm as Police operatives have recovered the abandoned Sennia vehicle used by the murders.
Ikenga also disclosed that the testimonies of the injured victims who are currently receiving treatment in the hospital is aiding the investigation while the bodies of the deceased have been deposited in the morgue.
